Inquests Locum - South West - Hybrid Working - £55 umbrella
Venn Group’s specialist Legal team has partnered with a public sector body in the South West who are seeking to appoint an experienced Inquests Locum to join their team for an initial term of three months, to start as soon as possible. Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Managing a full caseload
- Attending hearings at court, including travel, and accompanying counsel where necessary
- Advocacy at inquests and pre-inquest review hearings
- Ensuring relevant deadlines, quality measures and KPIs are adhered to
- Complying with relevant policies and procedures
This role is best suited to a qualified Solicitor. Prospective candidates must have prior experience of advocating at inquests. You will be required to attend the office in person for the first few weeks, after which the role can be worked mostly remotely.
An hourly rate of up to £55 umbrella is offered for this role.
