Insight Officer

Venn Group are pleased to be working with a renowned organisation in the Education sector, to source an analytical, forward-thinking Insight Officer. This is a 12 month FTC, paying £37,000-£40,000, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work 1-2 days per week on-site, with the other 3-4 being remote.
The main duties of this role will include:
- Producing and interpreting management information, ensuring an accurate, consistent and comprehensive insight service
- Working with internal stakeholders to fully understand their priorities and research objectives, areas of activity and requirements and ensure that appropriate insights and support are provided
- Administering qualitative and quantitative research e.g. survey development and analysis and recruiting and conducting focus groups
- Producing recommendations based on primary and secondary sector data to inform the development of the product portfolio
- Conducting competitor benchmarking to advise on product positioning including pricing strategy, content and brand messaging
- Keeping up to date with developments within the sector as well as youth market trends to help identify any potential impacts to the organisation’s strategy, with the aim of ensuring a competitive advantage
- Interpreting a wide range of data from varying sources, covering all areas of recruitment, brand and development and related activity, subsequently providing clear and actionable recommendations
- Working with, and supplying research briefs and relevant data to, external agencies and contacts
The successful candidate should have:
- 3 years + experience in market research / marketing analysis (client-side or agency)
- Proven experience successfully using both qualitative and quantitative data collection methodologies
- Strong line management skills (essential)
- Outstanding communications skills, both verbal and written
