Insurance Manager

A position has arisen for an Insurance Manager to work in a large established Charity.
Rate: £200-300 per day
Length: 3 months ongoing
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide full insurance and risk advisory services to the Charity and it subsidiaries
- Undertake claims analysis and work with internal brokers
- Advise as necessary in review meetings with brokers, insurers, claims handlers and external lawyers
- Lead in the procurement of the tendering process for both insurance brokers and insurance companies
- Carry out risk assessments across the organisation
- To oversee the management of all claims
- Help redesign the insurance service provided to the organisation, and make delivery of service more efficient
The successful candidate MUST have:
- A Professional insurance qualification
- Good knowledge of insurance market practices and procedures
- Ability to work on a number of issues and provide solutions relating to insurance
- A background in brokering / insurance
- In-house experience desirable (Commercial or Charity)
