Personal Wellbeing Coach
A support provider based in South Wales is looking for a highly motivated and empathic support worker to provide assistance for ex-offenders in a supported living environment. The post holder will provide a necessary and valuable service to the community and help vulnerable service users transform their lives in a positive and productive direction.
Location: South Wales
Contract duration: 2 Months +
Hours: 37 Mon – Fri
Hourly rate: £13 - £14.50 via Umbrella

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will be serving either community sentences or have being released from prison
- Create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with the service
- Facilitate a support around families and other significant relationships
- Support and reduce social isolation and improve decision-making/lifestyle choices
- Support with emotional wellbeing
- Deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes including group work sessions where required
- Provide through the gates support for those leaving prison
Essential criteria include:
- Current enhanced DBS (within the past 12 months)
- Experience of working within supported or social housing, property management or care/criminal justice setting
- Access to a vehicle (travel expenses covered)
