Interim Senior Performance & Intelligence Officer
Based: London (at least 1 day per week in office)
Length: 3 months initially
IR35: Inside
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the Health, Wellbeing, Adults & Housing Performance Team, overseeing the design and production of a suite of performance tools to provide high quality data and insight
- Delivering the evidential base required for the development of policy, strategic planning and commissioning activity to allow evidence based decision making
- To monitor performance and highlight areas performing below the acceptable threshold and provide guidance on business improvement to mitigate these shortcomings
- The role holder is responsible for ensuring that the council meets it requirements to external regulators, ensuring the data provided is of good quality and leading in the completion and submission of the relevant statutory returns to time
Skills and experience required:
- Ability to interpret complex guidance and legislation and convey requirements in an easy and understandable format
- Specialist knowledge of Adult Social Care including Statutory Returns
- High level SAP Business Objects and MS Power BI Skills
- Detailed knowledge or understanding of statistical techniques
- A detailed knowledge in the working and data tabulation of case management systems
- Experience of delivering high quality intelligence and performance information that has effectively informed service planning
