IT Adoption Specialist
Location: London, Hybrid (two days a week on site)
Rate: £40,000 - £48,000
Length: 1 year FTC
We are working with a fantastic charity in London who are looking for an IT Adoption specialist on a year fixed term contract who will play a role in the delivery of IT change for the organisations varied project portfolio encompassing Cloud-based solutions, IT infrastructure and application upgrades and migrations, new office implementations and, process transformation through the Microsoft 365 suite.
Job duties:
- Lead the adoption and change management activities within the IT Projects unit
- Define, plan and schedule the adoption and change management activities for projects managed by the project unit
- Undertake delivery of face-to-face and online training on IT tools and services to all IT users
- Create and update training materials to facilitate the adoption of IT skills within the workforce
- Develop and manage user forums and communities to facilitate on-going learning and adoption
- Liaise with project sponsors, stakeholders, and staff in order to achieve project adoption goals
- Support other functional and operational areas such as testing, documentation, and analysis
- Support the release of the project to the support/services team
Required skills/experience include:
- Excellent experience of successfully delivering training programmes on site and online in group and on a one-to-one basis
- Excellent successful experience of conducting training needs analysis and designing course materials and other documents
- Strong general Microsoft application knowledge
- Ability to produce clear and concise documentation
- IT qualifications in Microsoft technologies and/or project management qualifications such as PRINCE II
- Capacity to forge strong business relationships with external suppliers
- The proven ability to analyse customer requirements, from both technical and missional colleagues, and develop solutions to support the delivery of their needs
