Venn Group are working with a Local Authority to recruit an IT Project Manager, to lead on upgrading applications and the underlying Windows server infrastructure.
The IT Project Manager will work with application owners and vendors to plan and ensure upgrades are completed on time, to budget and to quality.
This role is inside of IR35. Hybrid working is required, with attendance to the offices in London.
Responsibilities
- Work with vendors and the responsible application, project and technical teams to map and plan upgrade pathways
- Engage with application owners and vendors to ensure collaborative relationships are maintained
- Liaise with Programme Manager to align technical resources to ensure infrastructure can be built and upgraded
- Oversee risk and issue management, ensure mitigations are in place to address issues between elements of the projects
- Schedule upgrades and ensure they are completed on time
Desired Experience and Skills
- Significant experience of upgrading applications and Windows servers
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management experience, both internal and external
- Local government experience is highly desirable
