Job Title: IT Support Engineer (Onsite Deployment)

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Job Type: Temporary 3 months

Salary: £14.25 inc holiday pay

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team. As an Onsite Deployment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth deployment of IT equipment across multiple sites in Preston, Lancaster, and Burnley. Your expertise will directly impact our clients’ operations and enhance their technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Onsite Support: Travel between sites in Lancashire to deploy IT equipment and provide end-user support
• Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Network Device Configuration: Configure and support network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support activities and document deployment processes
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful IT deployments

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in application support and integration
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and colleagues
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with strong time management skills
• Driving License: A valid driving license is required due to travel between sites

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Additional Information:

• A pool van/car will be available at the Preston base.
• This role involves travel to sites in Preston, Lancaster, and Burnley
