Junior IT Officer – County Durham

Venn Group’s North East IT team are recruiting for enthusiastic Junior IT Officer’s to join a busy technical support team at a great organisation in County Durham!   

Location:            County Durham

Rate:                   £10 – 12 per hour (dependant on PAYE or Umbrella)

Duration:            3 months initially
Start:                  Immediate

Day to day duties:

• Have an understanding of PC builds, installs and deployment
• Perform OS and application installs
• Have experience of installing & configuring hardware & software
• Perform troubleshooting of hardware and software
• Troubleshoot basic desktop and physical network connectivity issues
• Assist in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software
• Prepare and record data assets for the decommissioning process
• Have excellent Customer Focus skills
• Be able to deliver first class customer care on the delivery of client’s requests and the resolution of incidents
• Be a fast learner
• Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
