Venn Group is working with a leading housing association to recruit a Roofer’s Mate for a temporary role based in North Wales. The role will support qualified roofers in carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance on domestic properties.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with the repair and maintenance of pitched and flat roofs

• Handling and transporting roofing materials and tools

• Supporting qualified roofers with stripping and replacing roof coverings

• Keeping the site clean and safe at all times

• Working at height using scaffolding and ladders

• Helping to load and unload materials

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a roofer’s mate or in a similar labouring role

• Comfortable working at height

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
