Leasehold Finance Team Leader
Our clients, a Local Authority is looking for an accomplished Leasehold Finance Team Leader to be responsible for the development and management of leasehold services, performance monitoring and the delivery of the service on a temporary basis.
Position: Leasehold Manager
Duration: 3 Months (with the possibility of extension)
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Hours: 35 hours a week
Location: London
Rate: Dependent on experience
Duties for this role will include:

To be of two a leasehold team leaders responsible for management and supervision of leasehold staff

Overseeing billing service charges; major works charges; shared ownership rent; ground rent and reserve fund contributions

To regularly liaise with various service providers to check the integrity of billing data, robustness of supporting information, adherence to billing deadlines, and the accuracy of invoices

Accountable for the work undertaken by the Leasehold Team and ensuring the timely and precise billing of a multimillion-pound budget

To ensure that staff are carrying out a range of final functions such as budget monitoring, and reconciliation of all receipts
- Be proactive in maintaining a current knowledge and understanding of leasehold management issues
- To provide specialist advice both internally and externally to stakeholders
Essential requirements:
- Good legislative knowledge surrounding section 20 consultation process and leasehold services
- Previous experience in calculating and billing service charge or major work
- Strong performance management background
- Good IT skills
