Legal Cashier role waiting to be filled

Venn Group have been approached by a Private Company, and would like to introduce the following available position

Position:          Legal Cashier

Location:         Newcastle City Centre

Hourly rate:     £24,000-£27,000 DoE

Length:            Permanent

Hours:             35 hours per week Mon-Fri 9-5

The role will predominantly involve:

• Process bank reconciliations
• Update and maintain cash flow forecast
• Sales and purchase ledger input and reconciliation
• Company credit card postings
• Online bank payments
• Input HMLR/HMCTS invoices
• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Process Legal Aid, VAT Returns Petty cash input/reconciliation
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Residual client balances
• Deal with general ledger queries

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a Legal Cashier Role, and have knowledge of SAR (Solicitors Accounts Rules)  role, and be available at short notice.
