Litigation Lawyer – Fixed Term Contract – 1 year – Full/Part Time – Local Authority
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy/successful Local Authority, who are known for their excellent team culture, who are recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join their department.
This is a full-time or part time (40 hours per week), 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). This role is hybrid working, with flexible working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Good, recent and thorough practical experience of general litigation; advising clients, pre-litigation and advocacy
- Experience of working in a complex and diverse organisation at a level undertaking similar functions and duties to those in the job description.
Requirements:
- Qualified Lawyer – Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
- The ideal applicant will have recent experience working in a Local Authority
- The local authority is ideally looking for a candidate with housing litigation experience
- The local authority is willing to be flexible in terms of PQE
