Loan Capital Markets Facility Agent – Assistant Team Leader

Venn Group are currently recruiting for multiple positions within the Loans space for an ongoing project run at a global bank. These contract positions have arisen out of a need to support the existing team and offer the opportunity for longer-term extensions with the team.

The purpose of this role is to act as the primary contact for, and perform all functions relating to, a portfolio of syndicated loan transactions. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively and closely with the existing Team Leader, as well as offering support to others within the wider network of the team. Overall, the team is seeking individuals with which it can continue to expand and successfully achieve strategic goals.

In terms of the day to day activities, the candidate will be expected to take responsibility for various responsibilities across the lending group. This will include, but is not limited to, facilitating communication, managing cash flows, maintaining registers of parties to the agreement and/or lender commitments. The candidate will also monitor deal commitments and track them, compiling accurate and timely documentation of the end to end process. Deal activity and accruals will also be monitored, and the ideal candidate will be expected to have prior experience and knowledge of engaging with external legal and regulatory advisors.

The candidate will also be responsible for attending numerous meetings relating to the portfolio, oftentimes attending both ad hoc and scheduled site visits as required. In light of this, anyone able to leverage excellent stakeholder management skills with both internal and external stakeholders would be ideal for this position.

This role also involves the review of new agency documents and requires regular feedback provided to either the originating department or external legal advisors.
