Locum Childcare Lawyer

Venn Group have been instructed on a Locum Childcare Solicitor role on behalf of a North East local authority.

This role involves handling a mixed caseload of around 13 childcare cases and will involve advocacy in-person at Middlesbrough Combined Court Centre.

Start: ASAP

Duration: Initially until April 2026

Working Arrangement: Full-time, hybrid (attendance for court required)

Rate: £55-60 per hour, umbrella

The successful candidate must be a qualified solicitor/barrister/CILEx and hold a current practising certificate.
