Locum Childcare Lawyer – Full time – Predominantly Remote Working – 3-6 months + - up to £55 per hour Outside IR35 – Midlands

Position: Locum Childcare Lawyer
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3-6 months +
Working Hours: Full Time ideally but 4 days per week considered
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working with Court Attendance when required
Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Outside IR35

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and will have a broad working understanding of Childcare Law to deal with a varied caseload.

Duties may include:
• Providing legal services in respect of Childcare law, including all negotiations on behalf of the Council as may be necessary prior to the issue of Public Law proceedings, issue of proceedings and conduct of case to include advocacy
• Representing the Council at the Family Court as relevant to work undertaken
• Providing specialist Childcare services and policy advice with a particular emphasis on the conduct of Public Law Litigation for the protection of children

This position has an attractive rate of up to £55 per hour Outside IR35 dependent on experience.
