Locum Childcare Principal Lawyer

Locum Principal Childcare Solicitor – Predominantly Remote Working – £60 - £70 per hour Umbrella DOE – West Midlands (April Start)

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an established Local Authority in the West Midlands who are recruiting for a Locum Principal Childcare Lawyer to join their legal department.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) and the role is offered for an initial period of 6 months with a possibility of a further extension. It will be worked on a remote basis although a preference for 1 day a week working in the office has been requested dependant on your location.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Barrister with the ideal candidate having  previous experience working within Local Government dealing with a varied caseload of Childcare matters and a background managing people. You will be managing 5 people to include Solicitors, Legal Assistants and Legal Clerks and will be joining a well-supported team with three other Childcare Principals. Duties will also include managing a small caseload.
