Locum Senior Childcare Lawyer – Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour umbrella – East Midlands
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an established Local Authority in the East Midlands who are recruiting for a Locum Senior Childcare Lawyer to join their legal department.
This is a full-time position however candidates with part-time availability may also be considered. The role is offered for a period of 3 – 6 Months with a possibility of a further extension and will be worked on a remote basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Local Government and Childcare Law and be comfortable to conduct their own advocacy. This client is seeking candidates with existing experience of holding management responsibilities as this role will involve supervision of others within the Childcare Department.
Duties may include:
- Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings matters
- Holding managerial responsibilities and having the capability to lead a team and provide supervision for junior members of staff
- Advising at LPM and PLO meetings
- Performing own advocacy
- Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law
They can offer up to £60 per hour for this role however the rate offered will depend on the individual experience level of the candidate.
