Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – All Remote Working – 6 months + – £60 per hour Umbrella – Home Counties
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are pleased to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the Home Counties.
This assignment will be for an initial period of 6 months subject to likely possible extension thereafter on a fully remote basis for the foreseeable. The client is seeking someone on a full time basis however part time candidates possessing the right experience will be considered.
The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister who is able to handle a complex caseload of Commercial Contracts matters with extensive professional experience gained within Local Government.
Duties may include:

Managing a varied caseload of Commercial Contract matters

Reviewing existing contracts, revising and amending existing contracts to make them fit for the Council’s purpose

Advising on/drafting funding agreements and memorandums of understanding

Drafting variations to contracts and service level agreements

Drafting relevant contracts for developmental projects within the local area
An attractive hourly rate of up to £60 Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience.
