Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – East Midlands – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella – Remote Working – Up to 3 months (Maternity Cover) – Full Time (37 hours per week) or Part Time (3 days per week)

Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Public Sector Organisation based in the East Midlands in the search for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer. This post can be a full-time or part time position which offers the opportunity to work for a Public Sector Organisation within a knowledgeable Commercial Team.
Duties may include:
• Providing advice and assistance on all legal aspects of procurement, tenders and contracts including interpretation, drafting, contract management, disputes, and termination
• providing expert legal advice and support on a variety of commercial contracts and procurement matters and negotiating funding agreements
• Supporting the Head of Legal and Commercial Services and Legal Services Team Manager to ensure legality in the Council’s decision-making process
• Assisting the Head of Legal and Legal Services Team Manager on issues of corporate governance including member training, reviewing of the constitution, and providing advice on compliance/corporate governance
This post can be full time, 37 hours per week or part time (3 days per week) on a remote basis offering up to £60 per hour Umbrella.
