Locum Employment Lawyer – West Central London – Remote Working offered – £35-45 per hour Umbrella negotiable
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority in West Central London, who are recruiting for a Locum Employment Lawyer to join their successful legal team.
This is a full-time assignment, offering offered on an ongoing contract that will be extended every 3 months and with the option to be worked on a remote basis. The client is considering office presence in the future however if this is not possible, this can be discussed with the client. They are keen to secure the right candidate and are willing to be flexible if necessary.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to become part of a reputable Local Authority with an excellent team environment and support system.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor, and it is essential that the successful candidate will be able to:
- Provide legal and procedural advice to Members and Officers relating to employment law matters, including TUPE and pensions, SEN cases and other education matters
- Undertake complex and routine legal cases involving employment matters without day to day supervision and to manage time and responsibilities accordingly
- Conduct proceedings, public inquires, appeals and judicial reviews in the Courts and before Tribunals and to appear as an advocate as appropriate
An hourly rate starting at £35 per hour umbrella is offered for this position, dependent upon experience, which can be negotiated.
