Locum Employment Solicitor

Locum Employment Lawyer – Hybrid Working – £60 per hour Umbrella – Full Time - South West

Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector Legal team is working with a South West Local Authority who are seeking to appoint a talented Locum Employment Lawyer to join their team full time, for an initial term of 3 months, subject to extension thereafter.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Lawyer (Solicitors, Barristers and highly experienced CILEX professionals) with recent local government experience handling a varied caseload of employment matters. Your experience will include responsibilities such as:

• Conducting Employment Litigation and acting as advocate at Court, inquiries, hearings and tribunals
• Negotiating and drafting various documents such as contracts, agreements, instruments of governance
• Dealing with disputes and complaints
• Providing general legal advice regarding matters of Employment

This role is offering an hourly rate of up to £60 per hour via umbrella alongside a hybrid working scheme of 1 day per week in office.
