Locum Planning Lawyer – Northwest Local Authority – Remote-Working, with monthly committee attendance – Full Time
Venn Group is working with a well-regarded North West local authority in their search for a Locum Planning Lawyer on an interim notice for around 3 months initially.
Details:
Job Title: Locum Planning Lawyer
Hourly Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Length of Contract: 3 months +
Working Pattern: Full time – 37 hours
Location: Local Authority in North West
Remote-Working with monthly committee attendance
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied planning and highways caseload
- Building and sustaining effective relationships with Stakeholders
- Working with a case management system
- Devising and implementing new methods, forms and procedures as required by new legislation
- Determining the effect of new legislation and advising specifically on the impact of new legislation
Preferred Experience:
- Solid background in Planning, in a Public Sector/ Local Authority environment
- 3 years + PQE in Planning
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible caseload
