Locum Commercial Property, Contracts and Governance Solicitor – Home Counties– 3 Days per Week - Fully Remote Working – 3 to 6 months– up to £50 per hour
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are pleased to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property, Contracts and Governance Solicitor to join a prestigious Local Authority in the Home Counties. This assignment will be for an initial period of three to six months subject to possible extension thereafter and will be worked on a fully remote basis for the foreseeable future. The client seeking someone on a part time basis of up to 3 days per week.
The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Solicitor with is able to handle a caseload of contracts, property and commercial matters with professional experience gained within Local Government.
Duties may include:

Reviewing existing contracts, revising and amending existing contracts to make them fit for the Council’s purpose that achieves clients’ objectives

Drafting agreements including variation agreements and consultancy agreements

Efficient management of workloads adhering to given timescales and budgets

Preparing, negotiating and advising on all aspects relating to commercial property work.

General governance work
An attractive hourly rate of up to £50 Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience.
