Locum Property Lawyer (Rail and Infrastructure) – Midlands – Initial 3-6 months – Remote Working – £50-60 per hour OUTSIDE IR35

Venn Group Recruitment are seeking a Locum Property Lawyer to join a Large Public Authority working within their Rail and Infrastructure team.  

Position: Locum Property Lawyer (Rail and Infrastructure)

Organisation: Large Public Sector Organisation

Duration: 3-6 months initial contract with the likelihood of extension thereafter

Working Pattern: Ideally full time however candidates with part time availability possessing the desired experience will also be considered

Working Arrangement: Remote working

Hourly Rate: £50-60 per hour OUTSIDE IR35

The ideal candidate for this position will have previously handled a varied Property caseload to include Rail and Infrastructure work, within Local or Central Government.

Duties for this role may include:

• Dealing with a varied caseload of infrastructure and rail property work, to include Transport Work Order
• Handling CPO’s (Compulsory Purchase Orders) and GVD’s (General Vesting Declarations)
• Working on projects surrounding the HS2 rail systems
• Representing the Authority’s clients and negotiating with third parties on any commercial property related matters
• Maintaining and developing the Authority’s property portfolio
