Locum Senior Childcare Legal Officer – 3 months + – Predominantly Remote Working – Full Time – Up to £35 per hour – East Midlands

Position: Locum Senior Childcare Legal Officer

Organisation: East Midlands based Local Authority

Duration: 3 months +with the possibility of extension thereafter

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, Office attendance on occasion

Hourly Rate: Up to £35 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Childcare matters, including managing a Childcare caseload and with prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.

Duties may include:

• Managing a  varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings, PLO matters, s37s, Deprivation of Liberty applications and private law matters 
• Support Lawyers across the Childcare team
• Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law matters
