Management Accountant

We are recruiting for an Management Accountant for a well-established and reputable organisation based in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your career in finance by completing a 9-12 month contract

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring suitable financial reports are built and maintained
• Ensuring that following approvals projects are set up to accurately account for project costs in accordance with the approved investment proposal papers
• Ensuring project costs are recognised on value of work done principles
• Providing accurate, timely ad consistent month end reporting in accordance with Finance timetables
• Run forecast, consolidation and review processes to provide robust monthly forecasts
• Supporting processes to ensure that approved forecasts and annual budgets as well as business plans are input into local financial systems in an efficient and accurate way
• Ensuring that the regional financial controls in operation are efficient and effective

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience of major accounting systems, budgeting and forecasting, financial performance reporting and engagement with business management in a corporate setting
• Be ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or similar)
• Have strong organisational skills as well as strong ownership to support implementation of new financial processes
• Have strong communication skills
• Be able to work well under their own initiative and within a wider team
• Have good Excel and data manipulation skills

This role is a hybrid position with the head office in Warwickshire.
