Management Accountant (Interim)
We are currently working with a well-established, market leading organisation who are in need of the interim support of a Management Accountant to join their team on a hybrid working basis for an initial 3 month basis with a strong chance of extension.
Role Responsibilities:

Supports the month end reporting process for management accounts ensuring the efficient flow of information from local ERP systems

Supports preparation of the monthly management reporting and financial packs

Facilitates performance of SOX controls that sit within the reporting team

Reports non-financial KPIs to internal and external stakeholders

Provides insight on variances and key drivers explaining business performance for Senior Management and the Group

Ensures an efficient and robust flow of management information from underlying ledgers through financial systems and into reporting for senior stakeholders

The role drives the ongoing development of reporting by continually looking for better ways to source and present management information
Key Requirements:

Strong technical financial knowledge, must have a professional accounting qualification or working towards the final exams

Detailed knowledge and expertise in financial and ERP systems including SAP, BW and ideally HFM and manipulation skills

Must be well organised and able to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritise to meet deadlines

Relevant experience within the reporting teams
Start: ASAP
Duration: Temporary until Feb 2022
Location: Hybrid working with some office based work based in the West Midlands area (majority of the role will be working from home)
Rate: Up to £300 per day
