Mental Health Crisis Worker
An excellent Support Provider in Bristol are recruiting for a Mental Health Crisis Worker to join their team in delivering community health services and interventions to clients experiencing complex Mental Health issues
Location: Bristol
Contract duration: Permanent
Hours: Full time and part time available on a shift basis (9am to 5pm, 2pm to 10pm and some night shifts)
Salary: £24,888 to £25,582 (pro rata)

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with the service users and mental health professionals to navigate and coordinate services (implementing both social and clinical interventions)
- Co-produce, implement and review recovery plan, crisis plan and other self-management tools e.g. Wellness Recovery Action Plan, in partnership with service users
- Connect into community resources, building resilience and improving wellbeing
- Work within a recovery and psychologically informed approach, taking a holistic view to support people’s recovery to live fulfilling lives
- Case manage and co-ordinate support referring and liaising with professionals, agencies and other parties
- Identify, assess and manage risk to ensure risk is minimised
- Have up to date safeguarding training, ensuring that Safeguarding policies and procedures are fully adhered to
- Enable delivery of the recovery plan and to enable service users to make informed decisions about their mental wellbeing
- Work in a culturally sensitive way for all service users, tailoring to meet their individual needs, challenging stigma and discrimination
- Manage caseload documentation effectively and ensuring the information is up to date
Essential criteria include:
- Proven experience of working with people with multiple needs (e.g. mental health, homelessness, alcohol/drug dependency, rough sleeping)
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Driver with access to your own vehicle
