Network Engineer

Venn Group's specialist IT division are recruiting for a Network Engineer.

The successful candidate must have;

• Experience of working in a large LAN/WAN data and telephony communications environment and experience of data and voice cabling
• Knowledge and experience of Cisco IOS, including configuring Cisco switches and routers and other network devices
• Experience of using management tools such as Solarwinds and Prime
• Good understanding of the IP Addressing, DNS/DHCP and general TCP/IP protocol suite
• Experience of configuring and troubleshooting IPSEC and SSL VPNs
• An appreciation and understanding of network security issues and their importance within the context of a health environment
• Ability to monitor performance of networks and where necessary recommend improvements as well as providing advice
• Skills to diagnose, record and resolve faults in conjunction with the fault reporting procedure and analyse complex information

Candidates must be;

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in any ICT discipline
• CCNA or working towards CCNA in any discipline
