A multi-faceted systems administration and support role working within the team to provide support for the on-going management and development of the general Infrastructure.
Working within the I.T Team, the role requires systems management, administration and support for all backend infrastructure services.
This is very much both a technical and customer services role requiring development, planning and technical support (both proactive and reactive) skills.
It will involve frequent liaison with customers and third-party maintainers as well as supporting and maintaining the Informatics departments systems and supporting other infrastructure services.
The role will involve providing technical guidance in a wide range of specialist systems to technical and non-technical staff. The role is responsible for ensuring effective monitoring of a wide range of IT systems whilst ensuring a high level of system stability and uptime. In addition, the person, will be responsible for providing detailed analysis of data, designing and producing reports for internal and external review and respond to any other systems related issues or queries.
Successful applicants will need to be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle.
