Venn Group would like to introduce the following Night Support Worker position available in Chester
Position: Night Support Worker
Location: Chester
Rate: £11.44 p/hour inc hol pay
Length: 8 weeks with possibility of extension
Hours: 4 on 4 off rota, 8pm – 7am can including occasional weekend work
The role will predominantly involve:
- Working in a 24/hour supported accommodation service supporting people who are at risk of homelessness
- Supporting other members of the night team working with service users with complex needs, drug, alcohol dependencies and mental health issues
- Conducting welfare checks with residents
- Taking referrals
- Completing light domestic duties, some cleaning, washing, tidying
- Ensuring the service is safe and hazard free
The successful candidate will have experience of working in this sector and working with vulnerable clients, has a good understanding of supported housing and safeguarding procedures. The successful candidate must have an Adult Enhanced DBS and be able to start the position next week
