Operational Delivery Manager

A position has arisen for an Operations Delivery Manager within a prestigious local authority in the South West. This person is a key colleague, whose role is to ensure our operational effectiveness, continued delivery of safe and quality services
Location: South West – Remote
Duration: 6 months initially
Rate: £500 per day (Negotiable)
IR35 Status: Outside
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working in conjunction with the Registered Managers and Service Managers to respond to the findings of quality reviews, internal audits and soft intelligence, to ensure learning is applied consistently across all locations, services and the wider organisation
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy under the direction of the Director of Operations
- To ensure on going compliance with all CQC requirements by identifying risks, scoping mitigating solutions and where required, coaching and supervising managers to transition from traditional service delivery
- To review processes and systems with a view to simplifying and speeding up processes across all areas to facilitate smooth operational delivery. This may include admission processes, documenting care and capturing key data
Essential Experience:
- In-depth understanding of CQC requirements and standards.
- Highly effective communicator
- Project management experience
- Understanding of change management
- Ability to assess performance, competence and capacity of operational colleagues
- In-depth knowledge of effective system processes
