Operations Hub Service Manager
Venn Group is currently working with a large Health Trust based in London who require support as the result of a structure change.
Rate: £265 - £300 daily (substantive band 8a)
Length: 3 Months initially
Location: London
Hours: Full time (37.5)
An exciting opportunity has been created to work in the Operations Hub of a large NHS Trust based in London.
The Ops Hub was initially set up in 2017 to forecasting risk against ED performance, understand the reasons for poor performance, mitigations put in place and to report performance against the progress of improvement schemes.
Over the past 18 months the function of Ops Hub has evolved to include a wider remit which includes closer working with system partners at a local and STP level. The focus includes improvement of all pathways which impact on hospital emergency flow including schemes to improve length of stay and the discharge processes.
During the COVID 19 pandemic, the Ops Hub has played a key role in providing the centralised COVID operational response for the Trust. The response to the pandemic includes the transformation of UEC pathways across the Trust and the wider health and social care system.
The Ops Hub is led by The Director of Emergency Care Improvement who works closely with Chair of the Emergency Care and Trauma Clinical Board and is Programme Lead for the transformation of UEC pathways. This work includes liaising closely with the wider system on the transformation of pathways across the system.
The service manager role has been created to work with the Director of Emergency Care improvement to manage the Ops Hub in the delivery of UEC performance monitoring, provide challenge into the system and to contribute to the improvement agenda.
