Payroll Officer
We are currently working with a large, reputable organisation who are in need of the support of a Payroll Officer to join their team on an initial remote working basis. When the company returns to their offices, it will become a hybrid role when you will go into the office one day per week.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a fantastic organisation who promote from within. There are extensive opportunities for progression within the payroll department.
Role Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for incoming payroll queries

Resolve payroll queries from start to end within a timely manner

Process the payroll for a high volume of employees on a weekly, four weekly, monthly and salary payroll

Complete manual calculations to check the integrity of the payroll

Process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP and SPP

Add starter and leaver information onto the company system

Issue P45s and P60s as and when required
Key Requirements:

To have experience working within a fast paced payroll department

Be available at short notice/immediately available
