Payroll Specialist
- Location: Northamptonshire (mostly remote working)
- Duration: 6-month FTC (likely to go permanent)
- Salary: Up to £56,700 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
An established organisation is seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Payroll Specialist to support HR and payroll operations across the UK, France, and Ireland.
The Role will be responsible for ensuring all colleague data is accurately captured and maintained within the HRIS, while managing end‑to‑end payroll processes across multiple countries. Supporting around 400 colleagues, you will ensure payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing for multiple regions, ensuring accurate inputs, checks, and output review.
- Ensure timely and compliant payments to colleagues and adherence to local tax and legislative requirements.
- Produce payroll and financial reports to support leadership teams and budgeting.
- Ensure payroll funding is in place and coordinate any required finance outputs.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support HRIS data inputting, reporting, and system accuracy.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Fluent, both written and spoken, in French
- Experience in working in an international/EMEA payroll team
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong IT capability.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to manage a demanding workload and work flexibly.
- 3 years’ experience in payroll, or a combined generalist role.
