Interim Pensions Officer
Venn Group is currently recruiting a Pensions Officer to join our highly esteemed Public Sector client in Gloucester for 6 months.

Contract Length: 6m
Hourly rate: £11 – £12.70 via Umbrella

Duties will include:
- Assist the Pensions Manager in providing a comprehensive pension service to both staff and Managers
- Maintain proper and accurate pension records ensuring company regulations and internal audit requirements are adhered to
- Clear any data cleansing issues that are raised by the pensions agency
- Respond to queries from employees and Managers relating to pension matters in a professional and timely manner
- Accurately carry out manual pension calculations
- Verify the AVC & NEST Pension deductions and make payments to the appropriate provider in a timely manner
- Agree personal objectives in conjunction with the Pensions Managers, in accordance with the appraisal system
- Process Pension Scheme “opt out” and Refund Forms ensuring accurate employee records are maintained
- Support the Pensions Manager in the production of procedural guidelines for all tasks undertaken by the team and to assist in their ongoing review and maintenance
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of pensions and how to make manual calculations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other standard software
