Job description: A well-established organisation in North Yorkshire are currently recruiting for a People Business Partner to join their team on an permanent basis. This is a hybrid role with requirement to be on site for a minimum of 2 days a week.
This is an exciting opportunity to support and provide guidance to staff and managers by providing proactive communication mechanisms.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Manage casework including disciplinary and grievances, absence management and performance management
- Identify regional issues and to highlight these to the People Services Manager
- Diagnose underlying issues and build the case for change with Managers
- Contribute to effective change management solutions, ensuring consistent standards are maintained in line with relevant legislation
- Provide day to day leadership to drive delivery of the company’s strategic people plan
- Actively manage and support Managers in formal meetings as required
- Promote equal opportunities
- Keep up to date with external trends and best practice in all areas of HR
- Help integrate newly transferred services to adapt company policies and procedures
- Develop and deliver people plans tailored to specific services and departments
- Perform other duties as required
It is essential that candidates applying for this role are fully CIPD qualified and have previously worked at this level.
