Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Performance Management Officer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional SEND Transport Services.
As a Performance Management Officer within the SEND Transport department, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality, safety, and efficiency of our SEND transportation services. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing strategies to optimize service delivery. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including transport providers, educational institutions, and families of SEND students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of SEND transport services
- Regularly analyse data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance service quality
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and regulations governing SEND transport services
- Conduct audits and assessments to verify adherence to safety, accessibility, and quality standards
- Collaborate with transport providers to identify opportunities for service optimization, cost-effectiveness, and route efficiency
- Implement strategies to improve service delivery, minimize disruptions, and enhance the overall transport experience for SEND students
- Liaise with educational institutions, families, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster positive relationships
- Act as a point of contact for inquiries and issues related to SEND transport services
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports for management and relevant authorities
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and service improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance service quality and efficiency
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives
- Provide training and support to transport staff on best practices, safety procedures, and compliance requirements
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Transportation Management, Business, Public Administration)
- Experience in performance management, quality assurance, or a related role within the transportation or SEND industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SEND transportation regulations and best practices is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Familiarity with transportation management software is a plus
