Temporary Plumber

A position has arisen for an experienced Plumber to join a leading healthcare organisation in the East of England for 3-6 months.

Your duties will include:

• Perform PPM’s and other reactive maintenance across the site
• Understand, diagnose and repair faults in mechanical engineering plant and equipment, to deal with new situations as they arise
• Re-assemble, erect and install new work
• Provide technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
• Liaise with the Engineering Supervisor regarding plant or equipment failures and to request the supply of goods and/or contractor services as necessary
• Undertake condition surveys, evaluates inspection reports and other required documentation

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with installation, repairs and service of mechanical systems
• BTEC HNC/HND/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing or Mechanical based course
• Please note, a basic DBS will be required for this positon
