Portfolio Analyst
Venn Group is working with a fantastic organisation based in London who are looking for Portfolio Analyst to join their Portfolio Office Team and assist with the delivery of the organisations strategic plans.
Salary: £38,500
Location: London (Hybrid)

Job responsibilities include:
- Maintain of the organisations portfolio plans, advising on the sequencing of key change deliverables and ensuring that all project/programme dependencies are identified and monitored
- Ensure project and programme risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are effectively escalated
- Lead on the development of timely, accurate and meaningful reporting at all governance levels
- Provide financial analysis of the portfolio budget via regular monitoring and tracking
- Develop, maintain, and implement effective processes and associated guidance for key project, programme and portfolio areas
- Utilise and develop tools and products for monitoring key project, programme, portfolio areas, such as planning, RAID, benefits, reporting, change control etc
The successful candidate will have:
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing – reports, presentations and project plans
- Previous experience working in a PMO (portfolio, programme or project) office or planning and performance function at the strategic level
- Experience in developing and implementing processes, standards and templates to facilitate delivery of complex pieces of work
- Previous experience in the management of risks and issues, planning and reporting within project/ programme/ portfolio management
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies e.g. PRINCE 2 or Agile
