Position: Principal Property and Regeneration Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: 3 month initial contract
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working- two days a week office attendance
Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate
Venn Group’s legal team are working with a London based Local Authority to recruit a Locum Principal Property + Regeneration Lawyer to join their team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either an experienced Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has extensive experience of handling a wide range of Property and Regeneration matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven lawyer with managerial experience.
Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.
Duties shall include:
- To prepare, negotiate and advise on all aspects of commercial property work and regeneration projects
- To have conduct of legal files and case management
- Draft, amend and finalise legal documents in relation to property and regeneration matters
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff members, contributing to their professional development
