Principle Human Factors Engineer

Our client, a global organisation urgently require a Principle Human Factors Engineer to undertake a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running a small cluster of a HF team, training and mentoring them
- Assess scenarios given on-site and work out the probability of the scenario happening (primarily focusing on the safety aspects)
- Working on development scenarios, risk assessments
- Aligning with Safety Engineers and other non-HF stakeholders
Skillsets/Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within HF department
- Expertise in Human Error including safety probability work
- Experience working in a high-hazard industry e.g. nuclear, oil & gas, rail
- Ideally experience with either HEART or THERP
Desirable:
- Knowledge of nuclear site licensing
- Member of CIEHF
