Procurement Administrator (Full Time)

Venn Group are delighted to have partnered with a prominent public sector organisation, in the Northamptonshire area, to source a diligent, proactive and enthusiastic Procurement Administrator for a 12 month FTC. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site in Northampton three days per week, with the role paying £25,000 per annum.
The main duties of this role will include:
- Raising IT Purchase orders, contract renewals, payment of Invoices, document PO’s along with maintaining the IT ordering and GRN process
- Liaising with suppliers regarding costs for goods/services and processing requests via ERP
- Managing suppliers’ invoices, extracting information from relevant portals and processing for payment accordingly
- Uploading orders onto the Agresso system, ensuring that this information is accurate and kept up-to-date
- Processing requests for IT equipment by users through the internal ‘IT Orders’ process
- Raising invoices for recharge purposes, liaising with the Finance team as necessary
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers, following procurement regulations at all times
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong administrative skills
- The ability to effectively prioritise a wide range of tasks
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- High degree of IT literacy
