Product Manager

A position has arisen for a Product Manager within a leading academic and educational publishing organisation based in London. You will be joining the Publishing Technology team, with members based in the UK and US. You will be responsible for the management and development of the collaboration and productivity technologies. The successful candidate must have extensive experience using Microsoft technologies.
Your duties will include:

Conduct user and product research. Understand the user impact of changes, generate the product roadmap, integrated plans for product introduction, communication and develop productivity strategies

Keep up to date on the Microsoft roadmap, represent the client at events and conferences and look for new opportunities within the space

Be responsible for the promotion of Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft Tools within the company. Collaborating on training and education of end-users on Microsoft 365 capabilities and collaboration tools

Prioritize a product backlog and execute projects that create and deploy new features, products, and functionality

Monitor products and projects, reporting on delivery, organizational productivity, and collaboration

Be an active member of the user community, support and coach within the team, leading employee groups and a Community of Practice

Leverage your technical knowledge to write, produce and present technical articles, videos, and presentations

Uphold security and privacy standard practices and ensure that security is embedded in each activity
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience of planning, organizing, and managing projects

Demonstrable experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or IT Manager

Possess a passion for continuous learning, strong problem-solving skills, and critical thinking

Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation

Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills

Influencing skills at all levels of the business and with external parties
