Venn Group is working with a Local Authority in London to recruit an Interim Project Manager to lead the implementation of a business system for environmental services, covering technical and business change work streams.
This role is inside of IR35 and will require hybrid working in London on an ad-hoc basis.
Initially the role will be for 3-months, with funding to extend.
Responsibilities of the Interim Project Manager:
- Lead the implementation of the new environmental services management system
- Plan and oversee data migrations, including validation and cleansing activities
- Plan and oversee delivery of business change activities, including rollout and training for back office and operational staff
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and timelines effectively, and adjust objectives according to new directives
- Working with Business Analyst, to oversee business process re-engineering and configuration of processes to a new system
- Manage relationship and timelines with the supplier
- Prepare progress reports and information packs
- Attend project board with corporate directors and other senior stakeholders
Desired experience for the Interim Project Manager
- Previous experience of delivering key line of business systems, ideally with Environmental Services or similar areas
- Experience of technical project/programme delivery, including migrations and upgrades
- Experience of delivering business change associated with system upgrades, such as training
