Rate: Competitive rate - £345p/d Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 months with likely extensions available

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Support Officer to join their team for an exciting project in the Adult Directorate with a focus on Place-based and Library services.

It is important that you are a confident and effective communicator, can use your own initiative in order to add real value to this programme of work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the project team, including organising meetings, developing plans, facilitating consultations, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Information:

• Pulling together and managing a communications plan
• Producing the collateral needed as part of that
• Looking at current customer journeys and analysis of how they improve the new operating model
• Pulling together a training pack for staff on new operating model

Other responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the coordination and tracking of project activities, including risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones
• Supporting meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
• Collating communications and feedback from stakeholders
• Managing timelines for library consultations and ensuring all team members are informed of their responsibilities
• Updating project plans in coordination with project leads and team members
• Creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations as needed

Essential Requirements:

• Strong organisational skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience in project management
• Ability to manage projects similarly
• Prince2 or other relevant qualifications
