Job Title: Locum Major Projects and Regeneration Lawyer

Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella
Working Hours: Full Time, remote working with laptop collection on first day
Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Council based in the West Midlands in their search for an experienced Locum Major Projects and Regeneration Lawyer. This is a full-time position where you will be providing strategic and operational legal advice within the Council’s Legal Services Team.
Duties include:
- Providing legal advice to the Councils, their Cabinet, committees, sub committees, panels and working groups; including the writing reports and obtaining of external legal advice and opinion
- Providing comprehensive legal advice, assisting, and representing to the Councils generally
- Working on the Councils’ ongoing property portfolio and large-scale land transactions and major redevelopment/regeneration projects
- Working with colleagues across the Councils to deliver effective and efficient joined- up programmes, projects, policies, and initiatives
- Assisting the team and line management in establishing and reviewing systems and procedures, including the preparation of precedents and checklists and standard forms where required
- Advising legal aspects of any proposed property development and/or regeneration projects
This post is full time, (37 hours per week) on a remote basis offering up to £60 per hour Umbrella.
