Property Manager
Location: Exeter, Devon
Length: Temp – Perm
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Oversee the management of a specified estate portfolio and develop the strategic plan regarding the future management of that Estate
- Ensure adequate governance systems are in place to ensure statutory standards are being met
- Establish a robust property data set to assist with property reviews
- Manage property issues raised during any due diligence and maintaining an associated risk register
- Help to identify building related cost savings and agreeing a plan to realise these savings
- Work towards delivering and maintaining a fit for purpose estate
- Support the corporate risk associated with the premises and service
- Implement and review the PPM and repair arrangements for each site
- Produce and review compliance reports against KPI’s and present to committees
- Review estates investment needs and manage schemes on site
- Support with Estates Return Information Collection (ERIC) and Premises Assurance Models (PAM) data collections
- Review service delivery and implement feedback mechanisms for staff and service users
- Provide, receive and analyse complex information on estates management and site operations issues
- Establish and maintain good relationships and effective team working including supporting senior managers, Head of Estates and Facilities and Estates colleagues in order that the department is able to provide the full range of high quality estates services
Essential requirements:
- You will have professional knowledge acquired through a Masters degree or equivalent post degree experience in the public or commercial property sector
- Experience of the management of complex programmes of works including change management
- Proven record of budget management and financial control
- Hold a full, UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
