Interim Communications & Engagement Opportunities
We are currently recruiting to two interim communications opportunities for our local authority clients and are keen to hear from creative, adaptable candidates with demonstrable communications and engagement experience.
Communications & Engagement Officer – Covid 19
Based in London
Length: 8 months
IR35: Inside
Working arrangements: remote with option to go to the office
Brief:
- Support the delivery of communications and engagement to minimise the spread of COVID-19 across the borough, and support the continued rollout of the vaccine programme
- Play an essential part in raising awareness and understanding of the key public health messages around COVID-19 prevention, testing, self-solation, vaccine eligibility and combating vaccine hesitancy - particularly among under-represented groups - and encouraging behaviour change to limit the spread of the virus
- Work with the Communications and Engagement Managers and Vaccine Communications Lead in delivering simple and effective communications to minimise the spread of COVID-19, increase uptake of the vaccine and ensure all of our diverse communities are informed, safe, reassured and inspired to play their part in controlling the virus
- Focus on communications and engagement across a variety of tactics and channels including social media, website, newsletters, video, graphic design
- Work in close collaboration with the Public Health team, NHS and other local partners and other London boroughs
Senior Communications & Engagement Officer
Based in London
Length: 3 months initially
IR35: Inside
Working arrangements: remote with option to go to the office
Brief:
- Work across transformation and strategy advising on and delivering a variety of projects using audience insight, behavioural science and digital innovation to affect real change
- Distribute and approve key messages and campaigns via a variety of different media
- Manage various communications and engagement campaigns and initiatives including events, e-newsletters, brochures and publications
- Deliver effective communications and engagement campaigns and projects in line with brand guidelines and relevant plans and strategies
- Plan and deliver effective communications and engagement campaigns and projects that raise awareness, change perceptions or change behaviour
- Develop, research and lead on the implementation of campaign and project strategies across a wide variety of audiences
